The Bioengineering Program at the School of Computer Science and Engineering is offering a direct PhD degree in bioengineering. This 5-year program is open for excellent students who completed their B.Sc., M.Sc. or M.D. degrees in relevant fields with a GPA above 85, 2013 current cutoff was 91

The program is open for 5 students per year.

Minimal requirements to enter the program include the following courses or their equivalent:

   Intro to Computer Science (67101)

   From Cell to Organism (72108)

   General Chemistry (69174)

   Applied Math 1 (80114)

   Applied Math 2 (80157)

   Physics Mechanics (77148)

   Physics Electricity and Magnetism (7304)

Students who wish to apply to the PhD program should contact Hagit Yaar-On with the following information:

  3. 3.Two letters of recommendation

  4. 4.A complete grade record

  5. 5.A single passport photo
